Rx: X1 Blade designed to support a healing third metatarsal fracture for football cleat to be used during competition.
Diagnosis: Stress fracture third metatarsal.
History: College athlete who has been wearing a boot and wants to be able to play in an upcoming Bowl game.
Orthotic Design - Fabricate a thin/rigid/light/rocker shaped composite insert to fit into a football cleat. Add a relief area under the third metatarsal.
Plan - Order called in by trainer on 12/07/15 and sent to fabrication.
