Clyde, I just returned from a week in Germany where I worked out every morning and walked several miles each day while sightseeing.....all pain free!!! Prior to getting the X1 Blade, my turf toe was bothering me literally day and night. The insert immediately stopped the pain and coupled with some toe strengthening exercises from my podiatrist almost have this thing licked.  My son has been using his X1 Blades for basketball for the past 2 1/2 months or so. 

He was diagnosed with bones spurs in both big toes, and was scheduled for surgery. At 17, we were concerned about surgery so young as well as his ability to continue playing the sport he loves. We saw another surgeon who recommended intensive calf stretching, and we purchased your product for wear during basketball. 

He has been pain free for about 2 months while playing high level AAU basketball!

The X1 Turf Toe Blade is perfect!

 By the way, I spoke to you about the squeak when I walk with the Blade I wear in athletic shoes. I taped the sides, but didn't notice an improvement. I placed the Blade on top of the shoe liner and the squeak stopped. This is probably not the ideal position, is that correct?
