I would suggest replacing the AcuStep orthotics them if they are not giving the same support. Clyde

PFS - Plantar Fasciitis Strap

Great interim product before delivery of custom orthotic. The PFS elastic arch strap maintains a continuous elastic tension on the painful plantar fasciia. I like it better than taping for mild to moderate plantar fasciitis, and it can be worn at night vs. a clunky night splint.
