Broken Nose Mask for Water Polo

Hi Clyde,

Found you the web searching for a mask for my son who had his nose broken in a water polo game.  Unfortunately it will require surgery to fix - which is happens this week.  My son wants to get back in the water the following week assuming he gets the ok from the doctor.  He will need some protection for his nose so he needs a mask pretty quickly.  How fast of a turn around do you have from ordering one?

Also when I was reading what to measure I got a little confuse - inside the ear (does that mean just infront of the ear or over the ear canal - literally inside the ear?  Have the same problem with top of forehead - is that the top of the head or is it the hairline or just above the hairline?  I video or picture of what and how to measure would be helpful or maybe it is just me making it too complicated.

Basketball is seen as a safer sport than boxing, football or wrestling. In reality, basketball is very much a contact sport, and injuries can often occur from bodies colliding or elbows flying. Basketball players who get hit in the face with an elbow or knee can often end up with a broken nose or damaged eye. Players want to return to the game as soon as possible, but to guard the nose and face, they must often get used to wearing a protective mask.

Step 1

Practice with the mask or nose guard. Practicing while wearing the device enables you to see what restrictions the mask might force on you, such as cutting down vision or hampering breathing. In addition, practice will get you used to shooting, dribbling and seeing the court with the protective gear on.

Step 2

Remove the mask and wipe it clean during breaks in play. Cleaning the mask will help prevent it from getting too hot or heavy from perspiration and give your face time to breath. Pulling the mask up or off while you shoot free throws will enable you to safely shoot your regular shot.

Step 3

Adjust the straps on the mask appropriately. Masks come with straps to loosen or tighten them. A mask that is bothering you will be something you think about, which could hamper your play.

New Hoosier OTS Basketball Face Mask / Accomodates Glasses

Hi;

I am interested in your semi-custom guards for broken nose only (use for basketball).  

I need to wear wrap around perscription glasses when I play .  (I use the the Oakley Fast Jacket with removable lenses or the Oakley racing jacket).  

Will your nose guard work with either of those glasses brands? 

If so, how long will it take for me to obtain the guard, once I send you measurements and payment?
